Turn by turn
Turn 1 & 2: This turn can be pretty tricky and I found a safe way to get quickly around it is to simply lift off the accelerator at 80m and slow down using the gears only. Braking mid corner unsettles the car and causes understeer, mnaking it hard to get around the decreasing radius of 1 and 2.
Turn 3 & 4: Brake gently for the apex and drift out for a late track out on the right, accelerating hard. Turns 3 and 4 are essentially one corner. Apply KERS once almost at the track out.
Turn 5: Flat out with DRS open.
Turn 6: Brake at about 90m and run hard up over the inside kerb before pushing left and coming back right.
Turn 7 & 8: Balance the throttle through the long left hander, changing down to 4th and for the right hand turn 8. This is similar to turns 5 and 6 at Sepang, high speed change of direction.
Turn 9 & 10: Slown down to 2nd clipping the apex of 9 and pushing wide right out to track out. Be mindful of the curb as you turn in for 10. Once you've got the car pointed at the apex for 10, open the throttle, the DRS and use some KERS.
Turn 11 & 12 & 13: Brake for 11 at about 100m. You can really attack the inside curb here and gain a good chunk of time by basically cutting the corner. This helps improve the angle of attack for turn 12. Balance the throttle while you get the car pointed for the banked 13. Once the back end is stable, apply full throttle and smoothly move out wide to the left. Active DRS once you're straight.
Turn 14 & 15: You'll be carrying a lot of speed into the braking zone for turn 15, probably at least 340kph, so you'll need to brake early, at about 130m and ride hard up over the curb at the apex. Gently apply throttle until you're nearly straight then floor it through turn 15.
Turn 16: Brake at 50m and shift down to 4th, running over the side curb to the outside edge, using all the available road. Accelerate hard. You will have used al your KERS before this corner.
Overtaking Zones
Turn 6 is the first real overtaking opportunity, as if you get a good run out of turn 3 you'll be carrying a lot of speed into the corner. As the corner tightens, be careful of the person your overtaking cutting back underneath you. If you place your car strategically you can prevent this.
Overtaking cane be done at turn 11 but be mindfull people will be cutting the corner and bouncing over the curb and then straight lining it as much as possible. I'd avoid an attempt here unless the car in front is significantly slower.
Turn 14 is another good opportunity, and probably the safest thanks to the use of DRS down the straight and then a huge braking zone. This was the prime passing spot in the real grand prix.
